Borrowing times
Slides are available in the small study-room (exceptionally also in the large microscopy-hall) four times a day on weekdays at all even hours, i.e. at 8:00, 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00. You need your ISIC card to borrow them. The last slides are returned at 15:45. In order to ensure smooth operation in case of high demand, slides are returned 15 minutes before the start of the next session. In exceptional cases, arrangements can be made to borrow or return slides at special times. If none of our staff are present at the times indicated, please wait 5 minutes and then ring the bell.
Safety rules
Only one student may be at a single microscope. As some of the slides are very difficult to replace, they must be handled with care. Always take only the slide you are currently viewing out of the box, a pile of slides stacked outside the box would brake easily. If a slide is broken or lost, report the loss to an Department staff member. You will have to pay 50 CZK as a replacement fee. Borrowed items are not allowed to be removed from the Department premises.
Outerwear and luggage may only be placed on hangers and empty tables in the microscopy room or on hangers and around them in the study-room. Please don't carry bulky items and luggage directly among the microscopes. There is a risk of them falling and being damaged.

Mo - Fri: 8.00, 10.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.45 (only returning), or after arrangement with a teacher.
